I am! Petaluma Foodies too. The best food I’ve had in Sonoma County is Han Bul Korean BBQ in Santa Rosa, I’m also a particular fan of Sushi Hana in Rohnert Park, Sol food (Puerto Rican), Kafal for Indian & Abyssinia for Ethiopian. In Petaluma, I enjoy TAPS By the River for comfort food, De La Fattoria, and Quixote. Sebastopol has the best Ramen.
Im in Southern Oregon.
We have a Southern Oregon foodies group of which folks are friends with the Medicino foodies who seem to be friends with the Sonoma group.

You mentioned Sol Food. You mean that awesome bright green San Rafael place? (I lived in Marin for about 15 years)

Its a local chain, the owner’s name is Marisol. There’s one in Petaluma now, it was the biggest deal when it opened!

Do you enjoy lentils??
They’re not my favorite but I use them fairly often, I’ve been trying them as my protein in bolognese, and that’s going ok.
I like Adas Polo, a delicious rice dish with brown lentils, dates and raisins.
And daal is of course amazing, but I’m more likely to order that out than make it at home.
