Love the wedge…under rated imo.

It initially was strictly the vehicle for my craving of homemade Russian dressing. But it ended up being a “yeah, OK, that brings back good memories”.

Thank you! I never have, but I should… they’re one of my favorite Mexican dishes ever.

beautiful shot and i love that bowl!

Thanks! I bought the bowls 30 years ago at Fishs Eddy in NYC when it was just a tiny cramped shop, but it looks like they are still producing the line.

Fantastic idea. I have a bag of kale that might be destined for this.

So many amazing eats here, I can’t possibly keep up or comment on each one that makes me swoon. You all are killing it.

Last night I repurposed the leftover roast beef into Bún Bò Xào - [not lemongrass] beef vermicelli bowls. Shredded cabbage, green onions, cucumber, and romaine, pickled carrot, thin rice noodles, and nuoc cham garnished with cilantro and chopped peanuts. Mint would have been good, but it was still quite tasty (and thrifty).

My “repurposed” food never looks that good. More like a bunch for random piles thrown on a plate.

I put those on top of rice and pretend it’s intentional

Drinkie Time in my neighbor’s driveway started at about 5pm (6 feet apart) after an earlier afternoon walk in our complex. It was a good chat and good wine.

Dinner was leftovers.
