Mmm, I might spring for some nice skin-on thighs to try this recipe…

My mouth watered!!!

15 bean soup with fancy kielbasa, made in the IP on slow cook. I used the leftover sauce from the osso-busso-style ribs to round out the flavors, and added some diced tomatoes and herbs.

We came home to a frigid house (furnace condensate pipe froze over), so good thing dinner was made ahead.

I lucked out. They were on sale at my local grocer. No Name were $0.99 a pound but I went for Perdue at $1.31. Big spender.

Cleaned out and organized the fridge and freezer, feeling very pleased with myself.

Bought skeleton groceries now that I have a full inventory of what’s already at home.

Dinner in the PC while the fridge/freezer project was underway.

Ragda (stewed white peas) with pan-fried bread in lieu of potato patties. And I gave into sweet potato fries at the grocery store…

Even though I have full inventory . I still make a trip to the market pretty much everyday . Four items or less . You can call me a hoarder. Lol . Small town . You never know who you’re going to run into . Love this little market .

Made myself a NJ sloppy joe sandwich. Rye bread, homemade coleslaw, sliced deli turkey, Swiss cheese slices, Russian dressing and a big fat sour pickle on the side. Flying solo…and then,

Watched Troop Zero with my niece while she cut my hair. Dessert was her take on icebox cake; vanilla and chocolate pudding with broken graham crackers btwn the layers. Good times.

Gargling with warm lemon water and a tsp of honey in the morning helps me if I catch it early. No caffeine during that dred either. Feel better @gracieggg.

Been experimenting the the local bakery dough . 24 hour fridge ferment . 3 hour rise . Ohhhh , puffy . Getting there . Country ham , mozzarella , tomato . Cucumber salad as a side
The winner for me was. The tomato pie with anchovies. I put the anchovies on after cooking . Along with a splash of tomato. Cheers :wine_glass:

Osso Bucco style pork ribs

I was with you in solidarity (but abstinence)! I am however enjoying one right now. See what an influencer you are ?? In a good way, of course. :cocktail::monkey: Hope your work week is good.
