From the Paris Review:

Dorothy Parker is said to have been the author of one of the best quotes in history: “ Eternity is a ham and two people.” Like many such quips, it’s hard to find the original source—although in this case, we can safely assume that life was certainly the direct inspiration.

A few breakfasts I haven’t posted, all egg-centric…

totally messalicious egg & cheese:

badly cut soft-boiled egg:
boiled egg & toast

khao soi I made the night before with egg:

and today’s leftover lamb and egg taco with truffled hot sauce. you can actually taste the truffles before the heat kicks in! (and yeah, i know there aren’t real truffles in it.)

You are inoculated? Hope it went well.

My government says maybe in September if we are lucky. Uninfected taxpayers are left for dead here. They also say don’t call the ambulance if you feel sick.

Stay safe and eat well.
