Sounds fantastic!
Microwave poached egg on black olive toasted bread. A melted veil of provolone cheese on top along with splashes of hot sauce made by one of our sons. The cheese was very thinly sliced , so it melted immediately.
Egg, Jarlsberg, and Calabrian salami on an English muffin. El Yucateco habanero sauce under the hood!
Pre breakfast, breakfast.
Warm Dutchie from the MW and a large Tim’s coffee in my reusable cup.
The donut wasn’t from Tim’s(grocery store quick sale), but it was decent after the microwaving and the coffee is mid tier but there’s not much else open at 6am on a Saturday

I lamented the Dutchie (my favorite donut) when Tim’s stopped making it, but didn’t enjoy it as much on its return.
Ya, the donuts are subpar these days, but like I said they’re pretty much the only ones open that early in the morning
Breakfast this morning started with a couple of watermelon slices from Farm Boy and were poor quality. (All the slices looked like this. I only wanted one piece of fruit for breakfast this morning and there were pretty slim pickings.) Next course was scrambled eggs and peameal bacon. The eggs and bacon were good!
1/2 a slice of Wegmans sprouted multigrain sourdough with cream cheese, and half a Persian cuke with salt. Hoping this will not have similar consequences as last night’s dinner
Leftover halibut cakes re-warmed on a pan. New crop potatoes cooked in the counter-top convection oven.
Spuds, fruit, berries, and herbs from the garden.
There’s a donut shop in Hamilton that uses the original Tim Hortons recipes. I haven’t been yet. Granddad’s Donuts. The owner used to make donuts at Tim’s.
Good to know, but kinda far for doughnuts. Let me know what you think if you go there.
Lol okay. If I fall off the wagon, I will let you know.
Here are some photos:

Now I’m getting a craving for a walnut crunch They were my favourite.
Are they also from your garden? The blueberries we had in Germany (from the supermarket!) were so much more flavorful than any blueberries we’ve had here.
Yes, from our garden. We’ll be full-swing berry picking in about two days.
