Well, darn it. I had my breakfast bowl arranged all purtty-like, with the booberries, walnuts and finally edible kiwis arranged in neat lil triangles… and proceeded to dig in like a starvated terrier. Oops :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

A great business opportunity for someone in NYC.

I saw that somewhere! Luckily, I have a neighbor who owes me a favor for taking care of her mint plant.

I keep a Tupperware of starter and discard in my fridge perpetually, and only feed the starter a couple
Days before I want to bake a loaf. So it doesn’t generate a ton of discard.

How long can it go without being fed?

I will ignore mine for months at a time. I read that if all you have is dried flaky stuff you can still revive it with moisture. But I haven’t tested that.

This is news I can use. Especially since I’ve gotten too fat and am trying to carb less (luckily there’s someone else in my apartment who can pick up the biscuit-eating slack).

Also dieting and thus making far less than I did before. Good luck!

Now you just need some chili with that …

As a kid, chili and cinnamon rolls frequently appeared on the school lunch menu. I grew up on the left coast, but the school lunch menus definitely had a mid-western sensibility to them

Had some leftover boneless BBQ spare ribs from delivery Chinese, which became excellent breakfast tacos with additional chile peppers, onion, and hoisin sauce.

Another geezer-y breakfast. Plain yogurt, blueberries, almonds, raisins and dried, pitted prunes topped with honey :honey_pot:.

BUT no mouse droppings I mean geezer cereal

Looks delish.

The dried prunes were subbing for the geezer buds, don’t want to overdo it

More leftovers.

Yesterday was Greekish: pita, raita, humus, lamb and zucchini balls, marinated olives and feta.

Today was Japaneasy: Fried rice with 7 spice, mushrooms sauteed in butter and soy sauce, scrambled eggs.
