Just the two of us at home for Thanksgiving. I cooked. Details with photos on my blogpost:
Meal looks beautiful. Hope you’re ok for the next few days with the knee. As someone with some chronic joint issues I can sympathize with you. Hopefully you have some strong meds somewhere to tide you over
Thanks! I appreciate it.
Chanukah dinner at home.
A few days late, but Merry Holidays to all. Had the good fortune of my sis’ family in town and the Floridians got enough snow for the early arrivers to ambush the later arrivers with a pelting of snowballs.
Christmas Eve was baked clams, spinach pies, calamari marinara, then baccala, octopus, stuffed shrimp, some stone crab, mussels and to keep with tradition something green. Broccoli rabe this year.
Went to Netcost again! Got so many fun things.
Quail, braised rabbit, veal tongue, blood sausage.
Tongue on rye with capers scallions mustard relish
Picked up some salo too, been wanting to try this for quite a long time!
And got some cheap caviar. Perfect with some fries at a football game.
Also from netcost… smoked mackerel and 2 kinds of salmon. Smoked mackerel is so good! highly recommend.
What game and where were your seats? That looks close to my seats.
It was the colts game! 200 level somewhere. Tickets were like 10 bucks for that game, and it was fantastic!
lol, yeah I’m section 224. Yes, we have been telling everyone/anyone who wants to go to a game to come, wait till just before kick off and you can pick up tickets for $10. Glad you enjoyed, next time let me know!
We’re not too far from you. Our seats are in 228B. Rough year. Don’t think it’s getting better any time soon…
You have to reach out next season, I’m always tailgating!
I mean does anyone go to watch the giants? You can’t have an appetite after seeing them in action
Sad but true.
