Walking shoes and running shoes you love

I bought some MuckBoots for gardening recently and I love them. MuckBoots popped up on my feed on IG.

I laughed because my favourite fishmonger also loves Muck boots. Makes sense. Who wants fish guts seeping into one’s shoes?
These are my new gardening boots.

I had plantar and it was bad. Left it alone for a bit and started walking in crocs bistros. I can actually hike in them, 5 miles plus. Plantar went away…then bought some Hokas, they are as good as advertised.

Skechers.

I wear Skechers for bopping around, and theyre good (my steel toes are Skechers) but the Hokas are when Im going to be soing hardcore time on my feet.

I don’t generally wear sneakers outside of sportsing context (I gots style, ya know?), but Berlin means hoofing around a lot. These spiffy black ones have not let me down so far, but maybe you’re on your feet longer than 1-2 hours a day.

My new sandals arrived today

Now I have a dark blue pair (with gray sole) and a black one. I’m sofa king happyyyyyyy!!!

Work frequently has me on my feet all day on concrete, so my Bondi non slips are the choice…and Im rarely the only one wearing Hokas.

If Im just running short errands, I wear Birkis or my Hoka flips…but sometimes I hanging out where its not paved, so the sneaks keep the sand out.

I have both warm and cold weather Mucks. They’re fantastic! I love the fact that they come in different heights.

@LindaWhit (and any others)… i read an article about toe spacers and foot pain, so I ordered these out of curiousity

Slipped them on after an evening out with friends (wore a different pair of sandals and the painful foot was really upset about it)

The painful foot immediately settled down. Not enough to call it an answer but it’s promising, and at $5 a pretty low stakes gamble.

Good to know! I had bunion surgery on my right foot in '21, and no doubt the left might have to go under the knife eventually. But just getting some intermittent relief might be nice.

And yes, I can walk in them. Theyre a super squishy silicone-type material so they don’t rub or squish my toes.

I’ve seen them at CVS, but I just wasn’t sure if they’d do anything. So, thanks for letting us know :pray:t2:

I had some original muck low shoes/slip ons. Have no idea where they are. I liked that you could swap out the insoles.

Also…you only wear them for ahort periods…5 minutes working up to a half hour or so, so pretty easy to pop on while doomscrolling or bingeing

Which number Bondis did you all get?

8 from last year, has the loop top of heel to help you pull on.

Does any one have any experience with recovery sandals? I am recovering from a total knee replaement and my gait is so whacked out I can no longer walk barefoot. I was thinking about trying a pair but was hoping for some real-life feedback.

I’d love to try some but they’re all too wide for me.

The couple of pairs I’ve tried before were very wide on me as well but I’m willing to try again. I’ve heard that Archies are narrower. In addition to the ubiquitous slide they make a supportive flip flop, which I prefer.

I have the Hoka flip flops. I wear them around the house when my feet are acting up and they definitely help.

They make a slide, too.
