Hoka has a 30 day guarantee on their website too
I just bought a pair, too. I kind of gave up on which kind to order, and finally went with Bondis in the loudest psychedelic color I could muster. I also am sometimes tempted to play with my food.
If you buy online I assume? I wanted to go in for my first pair because I didn’t know the size or style I needed.
I just took my first 2 mile walk in the hokas and they felt great!
Me, too. I ordered Merrells, and they really helped. Now, I’m on my third pair.
I bought my first pair at REI, hikers and flips from REI.com, and the last pair from Hoka.com.
Both companies have excellent warranties (REI is 12 months. Really.)
I bought Merrell and tried both the low shoe and the ankle boot. Both caused such awful PF flares that I could hardly walk.
(So yeah, I have two brand new pairs of womens Merrells that someone could acquire for a song…)
Interesting. My hiking boots are Merrell, have been for years, and I love them. They treat my feet nicely. All my other shoes though… different story.
Oh no, that’s too bad. Unless you’re a 9.5 wide…

The most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and stylish.
Theyre 8.5. So close!
Just bought some Brooks Ghost Max for walking. I had been switching between a couple pairs of older, beat up ASICS and I can’t believe the difference in the cushioning and support. Since I’m home this summer, I started adding a 4-5 mile walk in the mornings that includes a bunch of hills. Previously, I’d just been walking the track at school in the morning before class and during lunch if I could sneak out. The hills were harder on my 52 year old knees than I expected. But, right now I am loving these new sneakers (and my knee braces).
I bought some Hokas for the first time, after dozens of pairs of Asics. I had already worn the treads off the 2 pairs of Asics I bought in November.
The Hokas have a little more bounce in their step.
I’ve also started buying my Birkenstock direct, online. They have lots of deals and way more colours than any stores stock. I unfortunately broke a toe last week, and I have been wearing the Birks I bought in May constantly, including in the garden, and they were looking pretty grimy.
I bought 2 new new pairs, which arrived in 2 days.

I will bookmark the Hokas. Thanks! The Brooks have been a revelation so far. I’ll see how they hold up in the coming weeks. Good luck with your broken toe!
I am very happy with my Birk boots, which have a little more arch support than my beloved Blundstone and El Naturalista boots I’ve been buying for decades.
Was the older model used by ’ Charlie Chaplin ’ in the movie ’ Gold Rush ’ for boiling and eating?! Ha!
Hahaha
Memorable scene!
Weren’t those actually Doc Martens?
