Cookbook of the Month (Quarter) nominations are underway if anyone wants to join in:
With a few days left to go, here is a collation of the noms so far.
Iâve grouped them by my own assessment of everyday vs project vs crossover (which may not be accurate for books Iâm not familiar with, but itâs an attempt to help people see how things might fall out).
(These are NOT nominations from me â Iâve just copy-pasted from above so things were already in caps)

Wow! Thatâs a work of art!! Were you happy with the taste? What is smoky butter? (Not something I would be able to enjoy).

Yeah it came out well I thought, and quite easy. The butter has Aleppo pepper, cumin, and paprika. I think I overcooked it a bit but it was fine. It was a little smoky because I used smoked paprika.

I had this dish in Turkey this spring (Kas). It was the only dish I had in 2 weeks that I really didnt care for. Maybe eating it with a larger quantity of bread would have helped

I made the muçver â they were excellent! Used my own blend of cheese (hard salty sheepâs milk + parm) bc no feta.

Iâve been using Parm or gruyère in spanakopita lately, when I donât have feta, and it works!
