Yes, somebody certainly likes them. I think a lot of people just eat what they like, don’t read labels, aren’t concerned about healthy choices.

LOL - I care about healthy eating and read labels. And occasionally I indulge.

I do this, with flour, when I have the time, to lead to a crispier meatball that browns nicely. The grated onion usually adds moisture, not much onion flavour

My mother (born in Connecticut to Southern Italian parents) never breaded in flour; I never felt the need to.

I really hate to grate onions. Again, what my mother used was water moistened white bread without crusts, fresh basil, parm, s & p, lots of eggs.

My friend and I prefer the little Tiny Tots brand, usually Safeway carries. There are teeny tiny bones.

I only like to eat them when I’m really starving, otherwise I pass. Great drained with your favorite mustard.

I add bread or breadcrumbs, milk, egg and grated or minced onion when I have the time.

It’s standard for most Greek-style meatballs (in my experience ) to add grated or minced onion (or sautéed onions), bread or crumbs, and egg.

When I’m in a hurry I don’t add the onion and I don’t coat in flour before baking or frying.

I use a squeeze of fresh lemon on canned sardines.

I only use mustard on hot dogs and soft pretzels. I never let mustard anywhere near fish! (if you search ”surprise mustard" or “stealth mustard” on this site, some of my comments on mustard will come up)

I just put this on the request to purchase form at the library. They have been so good at adding suggested books to the catalogue.

Lucky for me the library has purchased this title. I can hardly wait for it to come in.
