Spring 2026 (April-June) COTM NOMINATIONS

Hello, COTM people, and happy spring! It’s time to nominate titles for our Spring 2026 Quarter.

Over recent quarters, we have tried to create an inclusive environment of books and blogs that encompass both everyday cooking and project/stretch cooking for those who enjoyed the challenge of the original COTM, with options for online and library access where possible.

Please type nominations in ALL CAPS, and use regular capitalization to discuss, rather than nominate.

You may nominate as many sources as you like but please nominate with the intention of cooking along should your nominee be selected.

Nominations will close on THURSDAY, MARCH 26 at 8 PM EDT/5 PM PDT.

The current quarter’s selections, Diana Henry Quarter and Samin Nosrat Quarter, remain open for your participation, as do all prior COTM and COOKING FROM threads.

Any interest in ALISON ROMAN MONTH?

There are two $4.99 books of hers on Kindle now, one for sweets and one for “unfussy” entertaining. I have a hard copy of “Dining In” (from 2017) and would be happy to sample some suppers if her books are chosen.
ALISON ROMAN MONTH. (or quarter, is it?)

I haven’t had any interest in Alison Roman since her assorted debacles (Chrissy Teigen / Marie Kondo attacks, culture-deleting of recipes, and so on).

JOSE ANDRES QUARTER – World Central Kitchen cookbook, various Spanish cookbooks, a vegetable cookbook, and the Zaytinya (mediterranean) cookbook
