The Adventures of Fat Rice: Recipes from the Chicago Restaurant Inspired by Macau, Abraham Conlon - The cover was awesome and few cookbooks on Macanese food, so I had to have it.

Same like you, I’m attracted by the cover. A discussion here:

[Chicago] Fat Rice, anybody ate there before?

I downloaded a version of ebook sample to have a feel of the cooking. I thought it was about Macanese cuisine, meaning Portuguese + Chinese but I’m pleasantly surprised that there are some other southern Asian influence namely Malaysian influence in the cooking. Ingredient wises, I saw Filipino and Spanish influences as well. I think it’s a quite fun cooking. I will get the paper version of the book, ebooks cookbooks are depressing, and I like the cover.
