Another Las Vegas restaurant/cafe list

Hello folks: I am going to attend an event at the Sahara (staying there too) for three full days and would like some recommendations for restaurants and cafes. I am not into hotel buffets as they no longer provide great value. Very willing to venture off strip to find good food at reasonable prices. Don’t care about wine or fine dining. I have to get breakfast and dinner on my own with my partner.

Here are some places I have marked:

BREAKFAST
Peppermill
Vickie’s Diner

FOOD
Esther’s Kitchen
Chinese food in Chinatown – want to try the lobster noodle dish (any recs?)! I saw Youtube videos about a vibrant Chinese food scene in LV.
Miznon Las Vegas – in hotel, but their menu prices are acceptable
Kao Gang Thai near Chinatown
Gyu Plus for sandos
All’Antico Vinaio – is this any good?

CRAFT BEER
Able Baker Brewery

CAFES
Iwana
Vesta
Makers & Finders
Hello Kitty Cafe – I am a fan of Kitty’s
Urth
Bad Owl – kinda far

Would appreciate all suggestions! Thank you.

Another vote for Lotus of Siam. It has to be the best Thai restaurant I have been to outside of Bangkok.

Few more ideas based on recommendations from friends - Sparrow & Wolf, Mother Wolf, Bavette, Carson’s Kitchen, e by Jose Andres (very high-end MG)

I’ve struggled with Lotus of Siam. Their menu is so vast, I just don’t know which item is supposed to be good. It can range from decent to good dependent on what’s ordered.

In Chinatown I really liked Big Dan Shanxi Taste and also Shang Artisan Noodle. There’s also an outpost of SGV’s Chengdu Taste that was very good.

Another sandwich spot near the Sahara is Carnitas y Tortas Ahogadas Guadalajara 2 which has a very good “drowned” torta.

And there’s also a Tacos El Gordo somewhat near the Sahara as well, its near Peppermill and is open late.

Other off Strip values - happy hour steak and cocktails at Herbs & Rye and sister restaurant Cleaver

And another +1 to LoS and Raku (and also Toridokoro Raku)

Thank you for your replies thus far.

I checked the menus of Shang Noodles , Big Dan, and Chengdu Taste but couldn’t find the lobster noodle dish. Yet, I found photos of it on Google Maps for these places:
SK Seafood
Ellie’s Chinese
Rainbow Kitchen

What do you think of these?

Also, I found more places to explore:
Suzuya Patisserie
Mothership Coffee
PublicUs
Balkan Bar and Grill

Seems like LV is a food lover’s paradise. Thank you.

The Northern Thai part of the menu is very good as well as Garlic Prawns, Crispy Duck Panang, Papaya Salad, Nam Khao Tod, Sticky Mango Rice
