I believe Starbuck’s tastes so nasty is because they use far too high a ratio of beans to water. Add 10-25% too much coffee to your next pot to yield the *$ note. Dark roasts are less acidic than lighter notes. The darker roasts mask subtleties, but it does not necessarily yield a bitter cup of coffee.
One of my favourites – from Chatsworth House (see my in avatar) in England. The late, lamented Duchess of Devonshire (owner of Chatsworth with the Duke) loved her chickens. It wasn’t unheard of to come across her, or them, taking a constitutional on the estate.
Our morning collection: His and her, interchangeable. I favor the glass mug, he’s partial to the Hemi. Tadich Grill is reserved for hot cocoa or hot cider.
Though I like the HEMI, I’d take that Tadich off your hands.

SWAG should never be out of stock. That’s a very handsome cup, though. Maybe I’ll check n the near future. Then again, I’m quite smitten by “decorative gourd season.” Just wouldn’t go over in school really well. The kids would love it, though, especially if I was using it. I’m known not to hold back a ton when dealing with kids.

Espresso cup, eh. I usually only drink about 8oz per day, or my esophagus will tire of it and let me know in a most cruel manner.
