Had some bidness in the burbs today, wash car/return stuff to Costco and return the power washer my sister lent me, so I popped into a Balkan deli for some burek. Cheese on the left and spinach on the right.

Lunch today was a radicchio, iceberg lettuce salad with orange segments, chopped walnuts and chives.
Frisée and tomato vinaigrette, crabmeat salad, finely diced celery, chives, tarragon, Dukes mayo.

Nothing terribly unique, standard 3:1 , evoo and chive vinegar. Add little mustard and a tiny bit of honey, a few small tomatoes. Blitz and strain. Depending on usage, after straining, I might add very finely chopped shallot and minced basil or marjoram, never make exactly the same way twice!
Radish salad, Parmesan, frisée , lemon vinaigrette.
Cauliflower, broccoli, anchovy, mozzarella cubes, peperoncino, garlic, oil cured black olives, cracked green French olives, evoo in a well fermented pizza dough.

I was positively stahving after a strenuous leg day at the gym, so I was very much looking forward to our Friday taco flight from our favorite taco purveyor. Not so much of a “flight” today, as he was out of our beloved pork and brisket.
