Even though it’s -1000 outside I had a salad for lunch but wishing I had made soup for lunches this week. I didn’t buy any soup friendly veggies this week so no soup for me
I had a tuna caesar for lunch using lemon flavoured canned tuna.
Chicken salad, celery, cornichons, capers.
Cole slaw, scallions, parsley, pickled onions.
Toasted pita, evoo, Italian seasonings.
Pavlova, passionfruit crème, blackberries, raspberries, black berry coulis and passionfruit curd.
Snacky lunch of truffle gouda, honey, Fromager d’Affinois, duck and pork liver pâté, cornichons, and salami, with crackers.

Tagliatelle with sautéed mushrooms, garlic,dry Marsala, chicken broth, and a dash of pasta water. Sprinkled with some grated pecorino.
Salmon cakes from leftover poached salmon, half an egg, scrambled, panko, and crumbled feta. Served on a slice of olive bread with bacon and tomato slices, more feta for decoration.
After a minuscule breakfast of leftover fried rice & bok choy I needed something… less virtuous. More substantial. Cheeeeezier. Indulgent.
Nuked, then fried up a slice of leftover apizz with a lil extra formaggio bc I thought my dood was a lil skimpy with it. Calabrian chile oil for heat & basil for looks ![]()
So good, in fact, Ima make myself another one stat.

Still one of the best Hainan styles chicken rice in town.
Post-leg day (the first in far too long
) lonch: last night’s leftover chickie biryani mixed together with bangin’ bharta.
