Edit to add the sandwich included prosciutto, sliced tomato, boncocini cheese, basil and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Damn spell check wants me to tell you there was broccoli in the sandwich. No broccoli was harmed in the making of this sandwich
Today’s lunch was pork bimbimbap. It was made by an outfit that had a food cart near my office then covid happened They have a stall at the farmer’s market where they sell gochujang (sp?) and kimchi and bimbimbap for those whose would like to have a bite to eat while at the market. I have no idea what kind of magical sauce they add to their rice and pork but it reminds me of why I like that place so much. Their kimchi is really good too.
Ummm…an experiment that turned out partially successful. Inspired by a recent post from @klyeoh , I embarked on a mission to make a Thai crab omelette. But instead of crab I had some defrosted prawns. Used a recipe I found online and didn’t read properly. Maybe my wok was too small, maybe I should have patted the prawns more dry, maybe I don’t have the necessary omelette rolling skills. But the end result looks like a mess and was a bit watery. It was definitely edible. Very rich, so I had an excuse to wash it down with a glass of white wine.
I cut and color Sunshine’s hair. I pretend to be “Clement - French Hair Stylist to the Stars” – I do my best French Accent and have fun with it. Although my French accent comes out more like Pepe Le Pew (Cartoon Character).
I was kidding, of course — BUT he did try to do my roots during covid… it wasn’t the greatest job ever, and for the sake of our relationship we’ve decided to leave it to the professionals from now on
