Love your cooking!
Are the green figs a variety that is green when ripe? Or unripened figs that are still green. In the last couple of weeks my fig tree decided to push out lots of figs which will never ripen. I am hoping to find a way to use them.
Prawns! From Cervo’s on Canal St. in Manhattan. Very good prawns, with a Turkish sour spice, the name of which I have already forgotten.
ETA Urfa biber. Google remembers what I forget.
I bought the container from Trader Joes. Some of them were a little harder than others, and most ripened and got soft over time, but they remained the same yellowish green color. So I think it’s a particular variety.
Amen! I was just telling someone earlier that I am transitioning from gin/vodka season to whiskey!
Pizza night, with a special hats off to the restaurants that still hold onto their vintage signage, missing letters and all!
My people!!!
Midnight sashimi! I think hamachi ? Yellowtail? from frozen , with mango, red onion, “wasabi” and aji amarillo.

I love garbanzo y espinas!
what type of flour do you use?
my son use Cento Anna Neapoletana Tipo Double Zero flour fmazon Prime which seems to be very easy, to roll and proof making perfect crispy pizza just using our Vulcan oven with an Emile Henry pizza stone.
The string beans look perfect and delicious!
It’s an organic AP flour white flour. They sell it at Costco in conjoined 10 lb bags. I use it for almost all my breads too. This pizza crust was a KA recipe using sourdough discard. It uses a cup for one dough, so it’s very helpful for the discard not building up to vast quantities.
I was not aware they sell it at costco
have to look ad see how much it cost
We order from Amazon , 11 lbs for $25.15
My son sits Costco every 2-3 weeks for supply but I have to give him my lsit
ThaNks, It must be cheaper there.
I searched costco.com Cannot find it.
Anyway try happy. with Neapoletana
I want to say its about $12 for 20 lbs. It could be $20 but no higher than that. I am spacing out on the price for some reason, since we’ve been buying it for about 5 years now (as long as I’ve been baking bread at home) once every 2-3 months.
I’m not positive that they list all they sell on their online site. Better bet would be to call and ask your local store. The brand is “Central Milling Company.”
“Espinas are fish bones” !
“Espinicas are Spinach” … I think this is what you meant to write.
The petite woman in the white, black and mustard dress is my mom.
The Redhead is a friend, the gentleman, is an award winning Cava producer and the tall blonde lady in the dark navy trouser suit is the woman who invited my mom, one of my lady friends and the gentleman friend in the Cava business and I to the event.
