Didn’t see a new thread yet, so posting here. Katie Button’s adobo pork ribs (we smoked), roasted baby potatoes with herbs d’Provence, and (not pictured) steamed haricots w/ butter and lemon pepper.

Two of my favorite dishes!

Oops. Moved to November.
Did anyone see that story about the boy who while trick or treating, arrived at a home with a bowl with no candy, and put his own in the bowl? Awww.

Thanks kid, and thanks again @LindaWhit , for the heavy lifting.

So the opposite of the pre-teens we heard commenting “how stupid do you have to be to leave out a whole bowl of candy?” as they helped themselves to all of it (on camera, mind you)? Not stupid, buddy - we just expect you not to be a dick.

Sigh. That’s my excuse for just leaving the bowl out. Some “kids” weren’t even dressing up.

We gave out glow sticks, Glow bracelets and peanut butter cups to about 80 children judging by the leftovers. Everyone was dressed in costume. Greeting them at the door is a hoot.

You have made the children happy. Hope you keep doing it. Here things have changed, the PC police have won.

That’s a real bummer. Another right of passage tradition turned upside down.

What does that mean?
