That’s the issue I have, too - too dry. Extra sauce is a good idea.

We never have leftover spaghetti though

Me neither ha! I made a pound just for it.

Happy birthday!

Took what seemed like 24 hours to get home, and the first thing I did was to check on my plants!

Still trying to figure out which way is up, but will make some gazpacho before another “sleep”, get back to life.

Leftovers - mustard crusted chicken cutlet, roasted Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes.

This was HALF my meal from a restaurant… chicken was very tasty and recrisped well in the toaster oven, Brussels were sub par, mashed potatoes I rarely find fault with (unless they’re powdered).

Have a meatloaf in the smoker at the moment. In the pool house with cigar and drink watching the rain fall. Not sure if hurricane Michael is having an effect but my grass is happy.

Smoking a meatloaf takes it in a very positive direction!

They were home grown. The night temperature drops to 10ºC/50ºF, but the tomatoes continue to harvest, very slowly. I wouldn’t complain! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I agree!

I have never “smoked a meatloaf”…never fit in my wrapping paper (LOL)
But what could be so bad as watching the rain, sitting back and enjoying???

We just went here today. I was happy with the pho and the bahn mi. The sandwich was a little small but the flavor was there. And for that price, really couldn’t complain. I didn’t like the meat in the pho, but the broth was so delicious that I didn’t miss it. Thanks for the tip!

Forgot this… still on a delayed tomato kick, and the burrata was finally back at TJ!

Good to know about the pho. I didnt try it. I liked that the bahn mi was a moderate size for the money. I tried three in one sitting. Did you like the bread? I was so glad I could buy just the bread and make my own bahn mi at home.

Well…all I ate was my pie🥧 my bride enjoyed the meal. My appetite is off.

I wasn’t impressed with the bread, but that isn’t saying there was anything wrong with it. It was a well constructed sandwich and the bread did it’s job as a supporting role. One thing, there was 2 enormous slices of jalapeno hidden inside. Thank goodness my husband hit that first because if either I or my 1 year old bit into that; we would not have been so calm about it. NO idea what that was doing in there!!

Do banh mi places in your area usually not put jalapeno in the sandwiches? They are an automatic inclusion along with the carrot/daikon pickle and cilantro in my area.
