That is most definitely NOT an Everything Bagel! LOL
THAT’S a good birthday. And a really good hubby.
Well, I didn’t have THAT many wines this weekend.
They are hermetically sealed individual glasses for future indulgences! Guaranteed to be exactly the wine you want when you want it! Ain’t the internet grand?
Happiest birthday fellow Libra!
Breakfast out is a fantastic start to the day! Those potatoes look especially fantastic…
Beautiful late afternoon light you have there! Dinner looks pretty good too i love a good carrot salad (but no raisins)
A very Happy Birthday -
Sláinte Mhaith as my dad would say, and a tip of my wine glass to you-
No raisins - just pistachios, orange muscat vinegar, olive oil, s&p, and TJ’s onion salt. Surprisingly my babe loved it!
Lol
Ooooh, that sounds fantastic…! The kid has good taste apparently
“I got blisters on my fingers”
Ha! Not anymore…
Happy birthday Linda, a milestone, congrats. Feel good, be proud and get merry! Many Libras here in HO!
Those green leaves on the tomato plant, at least they are healthy. Mine they have more leaves, but they aren’t that well due to the cold nights and lack of sun.
Extremely stressed, I succeed my first attempt to fix my computer. I opened my iMac and changed the display card and gosh! I don’t know if the problem is solved, but I’m very glad that it could be switched on again! This machine was sent to the store last year for a free replacement of screen (manufacture default). A new problem with backlight this time. Out of warranty and 6 years old, I had 2 choices, to fix or to get a new one. I felt extremely hungry after the repair. Actually I forgot my lunch.
Yesterday, we ate dessert before our meal. I baked a lime cake with apple mint and zest the day before. Out of oven, it cooled down for 15 minutes, the whole cake was then brushed and soaked with lime juice and off in freezer for 30 minutes. Application of lime icing and another 2 minutes in the hot oven.
First time I tried this Yann Couvreur’s recipe, texture was very moist, different style from the usual cake. The lime juice and the dried zest powder was very refreshing. We both like it as we found most lemon cake was too sweet and a bit dry. (Cons: sugar overdose)
Dinner was rum steak with onion, tomatoes and burrata.
I have some leftover won ton wrappers, so I’ll pick up some canned pumpkin and amaretti cookies for
Pumpkin Won Ton Ravioli (topped with crushed Amaretti cookies), and grilled asparagus on the side.

Crispy-crunchy on the outside; soft and pillowy inside. Perfect!
I’ll add that to the hermetically sealed individual glasses that @meatn3 gave me. And thank you.
And when I pulled the overly wet rosemary off the deck railing to tuck under a chair to help “dry out” (if it will), I noticed that the dead basil plant has come back to life. So a few more leaves to use there as well. Call it Resurrection October.
Speaking of potatoes that are crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, just shared one of those recipes on another site that hates links haha. Small world Linda.
