Met up with one of my gal pals for lunch at a cute little Georgian place just out of town, then took advantage of the downpour and drove for a bit. Unfortunately for me, the skies cleared up pretty quickly, and things died down.
Went to catch an early (and really bad) movie with a friend on Cheapo Tue$day (only $6/ticket), then picked up a couple of Detroit-style pizzas to catch the finale of Alien:Earth at home.
Pizza accoutrements:
Martinis and spicy Sichuan peanuts to go with, and a slice of chocolate honey cake I brought home from lunch for my PIC and me after our guest had left
