Old Bay? Marinara? Hot sauce?
Homemade cheese ravioli with a sauce of artichokes, king oyster mushrooms, tomato, sage butter and cream. No complaints about this!
Love your potlucks…Can’t wait to see what everyone brings!
It’s always so much food, and such a great variety, and I love bringing all these random folks together
Pics to follow… you know it!
What are those meatball-ish orbs?
Sliced and fried up hot & sweet Italian sausages. TJ’s hot Italian sausages are HOT. And I have a pretty high tolerance for heat. They’re fab.
Baked tortiglioni with hot Italian sausage/mushrooms/red onion/green olives and pickled jalapenos in Mutti tomato/basil sauce topped with mozzarella, provolone and Parm/Reg. I’ll get 3 more meals outta this, and I might even have a side salad with it!

I used winter flounder rather than tilapia for this and serrano peppers in place of the long hot peppers, but otherwise basically followed the recipe. This came together quickly and was tasty!
I tried another new recipe this weekend and it was tonight’s sslmon caesar salad from skinnytaste. This one was a hit! The salad dressing in this recipe is my favourite so far.
Pork tenderloin, roasted with Herbs de Provence and a shallot-Dijon mustard-white wine sauce on top.
Roasted Herbs de Provence potatoes (because it was easy) and steamed broccoli.
There was wine.
Grilled pork chops
Grilled asparagus
Salad of shaved celery, shaved fennel, dates, pecans and pecorino
Take-out from a new to me Indian restaurant in London, ON.
Mulligatawny (a bit for me from my DC’s bowl)
Aloo gobi
Navratan Korma
Dal Makhani with black lentils.
Also, Jeera (cumin) rice.
Kannelbullar from Fika coffee shop and Galaktoboureko and Loukamades from Athens Pastries for my dining companions.
Another successful potluck in the books. Biggest crowd so far, buncha new peeps who enjoyed meeting everyone, and TPSTOF. Things ended a lil earlier than previous gatherings bc our hostess is on Whole30 so wasn’t drinking or able to eat much of anything , plus we had snow & freezing rain forecast, so people needed to get home safe.
I love organizing these events. Always so much deliciousness, and fun to introduce folks to one another.
(kimbap)
pork and chive dumplings)
(butter chicken with a nice kick)
(borani banjan)
(mushroom lasagna)
(penne marinara with parm)
(meatloaf. first meatloaf of my life I liked)
(raspberry cake)
My personal favorites were the pork and chive dumplings, the yak chili, and the butter chicken. My PIC brought home a slice of the orange cake I haven’t tried yet.
Saving!
Flounder with scallions and ginger, dry-fried cauliflower. I think I now have about 10 killer cauliflower recipes. I’m gonna go on an all cauliflower diet.
Would you share? I need lots.
Chicken vegetable stew starting from Tin Eats
But for some reason I thought the recipe had celery root (probably from other recipes I looked at) and I decided to add some mushrooms - 1/2 pound of mixed piopinos and chestnuts. Added an extra cup of stock and adjusted the other broth ingredients. Served with crusty bread and this AMAZING white wine. Could use something - just not sure what. I’ll play with the ton of leftovers, acid? Herbs?
