I won a loaf of sourdough through a contest on Instagram. It’s baked by fellow who supplies bread to some independent bakeries and coffee shops in town, who also sells bread directly to customers.

Also, a caraway and sea salt topped sausage roll from Tiny’s General Store.
Monday: a Tosta Mista AKA a Portuguese grilled ham and cheese sandwich, from Golden Wheat Bakery in Toronto.
Today:
Frambled egg sandwich with old cheddar and Madras mango sauce, on La Noisette seeded sourdough.
A return to Emily Rose Café for dulce de leche banana mini Bundt, shared with a friend.

I was up early today. Cleaned and got my chores done and then decided to get back into bed for brunch. I sweet tea, iced coffee; celery, cucumber and spinach juice; and coconut milk yogurt with berrries and walnuts.

A sausage and egg sandwich from Hamers Coffee in Toronto. I am not sure I like the sweet pickle in this sandwich. I will order it without the pickle another time.
Haddock and chickpea stew with chipotle and jalapenos over rice. Mostly just trying to use up leftovers.
Forbidden rice over homemade tofu, seasoned with turmeric and sumac, and stir fried with green beans, peas, carrots and corn.
