What's for breakfast (aka what's going to happen exciting today)?

Using up leftovers from this week’s carnitas dinners.

Breakfast tacos with homemade refries, scallion scrambled eggs, fresh Spanish chorizo, picco de gallo, pickled scallions, and sriracha mayo. Storebought tortillas.

German-American breakfast with bacon, oven rolls, havarti, cold cuts.

I also tried someone’s “fool-proof” SBE method of starting the eggs in cold water and boiling for 8 min. This is not a SBE by any stretch of the imagination, but we ate them anyway 🤣

Back to the drawing board, I guess.

I’ve been making omurice the past couple of days for myself. It’s a great start to my day and I love the sweet/savoury sauce on top, that makes the dish for me.

Breakfast is usually a low maintenence affair at my place. I got some spinach in my CSA this week so I used it to make eggs florentine for breakfast this morning.
