Yes it is. One of about a dozen varieties offered by East Detroit Bakery in Eastpointe, MI. We don’t have a favorite from there. We like them all.
That bread looks so good
Leaving the bread baking to the pros during NJ heatwave.
Lovely home delivery from Davidovich Bakery, NYC.
Bagels, cinnamon buns, long hotdog rolls and this incredible marbled rye which I enjoyed with mashed avocado and cracked black pepper earlier this morning.
@mariacarmen All your sandwiches look amazing. I’d eat any one of them and I don’t even like sandwiches!
I want to try a puffed pancake. This looks so comforting.
it looks wonderful.
i think you meant this for @RedJim…
Oops. So sorry. You are right. That’s what I get for trying to reply before enough coffee!!
Bread looks great but I hate when they put the bread in plastic. It ruins the crust. I guess when they deliver its the best way. I actually had a marble rye sent from Maine ( a cafe we love) and it was also in plastic, but I kept it in the freezer and took out slices as needed and toasted. Had a fantastic cinnamon bread.
I agree. I broke it down in 3rds and stored it in brown paper bags frozen.
Now that I look again I actually meant the sandwiches you both posted!
I made something similar - Julia Child’s recipe for clafoutis.
I would reduce the sugar from 2/3 to 1/3-1/2 c., even with tart fruit.
Beautiful! Those berries in your clafoutis look so appealing. Summer perfection.
Love that! Foraged blackberries are such a joy of summer. I need to get myself outside to hunt some before the birds gobble them all.
Tomatoes on whole grain toast with a little cream cheese, lemon, pepper and applewood smoked salt
OMG. OMG. OMG.
I wish I was your neighbor!
