I’m down 5 lbs, and I don’t want to brag, but I met my 200 000 step challenge before my phone battery died yesterday afternoon. I didn’t pick up my Too Good To Go carbs before the pick up window closed, because my phone died and I went home to charge it. The app requires you to swipe to pick up the carbs. A higher source was intervening, again. 2 weekends in a row. A voice told me to stop buying the slightly stale $5.99 bags of pastries and breads, even if you’re helping save the planet. Three times now.

I made a spinach and Munster omelet drizzled with chipotle Tabasco. I have been adding cornstarch slurry to the egg mixture and it keeps it nice and tender, not leathery.
A Filipino-style pancit to clean out the veggie bin: bean sprouts, cabbage, carrots and scallions. Instant ramen for noodles, and Oregon bay shrimp and eggs for protein. Sauce comprised of the usual suspects (soy, sesame oil, oyster sauce, etc.). Served with homemade chili crisp.
