. In the preview on Amazon there’s a recipe for egg mayo with asparagus. That dish is right up our alley.
I used straight mayo, added minced tarragon and chives, and seasoned with a splash each of lemon juice and white vinegar, a pinch of sugar, and salt and pepper (in lieu of salad cream).
All greens fresh from the garden, and served on toasted homemade French bread. Tasty!
No photo - but a hunk of baguette with good French butter, and a good cup of coffee. I was in heaven. It was so …good.
Hanging with my mom as she recovers from surgery. We celebrated the operation being behind her! I made buttermilk biscuits (her favorite), oven bacon and scrambled eggs in the bacon grease. No OJ so I pureed a peach for a (slightly chunky) Bellini with the dregs of a bottle of prossecco she had lying around. We agreed it wasn’t worth peeling the peach or straining, and it was delicious, if not visually appealing!
