nice room, very large bathroom, for about $485/night once you totaled all the fees

Monterey! There is a fab European bakery you must check out while you’re there. Parker Lusseau. Their quiche is outstanding! Ad Astra has tasty bread and also good pastries.

I love June gloom and then watching it give way to sun. You get the modulating effect of keeping it cooler later and the bay in all its colors and moods. I love strolling along the bay path from Monterey to pacific grove and just feeling my internal pace and stress slow down. Enjoy @Spamwise

Have you tried it after the ownership change? We haven’t tried it yet but heard that quality dropped
We were there last august. First and only time so I can’t compare anything. Don’t even know when that happened.

First Very Late Breakfast in the pad after shopping for essentials: a spelt roll with my beloved industrial mortadella (nostalgia, whaddya gonna do about it?) to counteract the healthful roll, and teewurst with cuke slices 
Milk is the only breakfast drink for me, at least in Germany.
