“stand up workshop”? as in comedy?

As in any kind of solo performance one might want to put together, but stand up appeals to me the most.

you have any recorded sets you want to share?
pretty please…

Oh, not even close. I’m still gathering material, and I’m not sure yet of the format or content :grimacing: — I could go the easy route and do my special brand of observational humor, or go deep and try to make trauma funny. Or only do crowd work.

Either way, all are far more terrifying than singing with my band, that’s for sure.

I’m meeting with the workshop leader in a bit to spitball ideas & get some (hopefully) helpful feedback :crossed_fingers:t2:

PS: It’s a real shame amandarama left, bc she was dabbling in standup, too, IIRC.

I’m not crazy into stand up comedy but I enjoy most of the Dry Bar specials, and Josh Joshson rarely fails to disappoint… oh, and Kevin Bridges, of course.

Sour cherry and blackberry smoothie. Whole wheat squash and sunflower seed muffins.

Tasty, and four fewer packages of last summer’s produce in the freezer.

Today’s smoothie was 2:1 sour cherry to blackberry (the inverse of yesterday’s version). Enjoyed with a muffin.

The dinner I never had last night is my brekkie today: the salmon filet heated & crisped up bee-yoo-tifully in the AF, and I may have gone a bit overboard with the hallapeeno holla-n-daze, but it’s fuckin’ delish :woman_shrugging:t2: Sashimi!

Micro poached egg on a biscuit , biscuit was brushed with melted butter and Fleur de Sel prior to baking.
Microwaved the egg for 45 seconds at #7 power…on the money :face_savoring_food:!
