HP > Catsup

Huh?

HP Sauce on breakfast foods instead of Ketchup. I’m a late convert to HP on bacon and on breakfast sandwiches.

I like both, but not at the same time.

i don’t know if it was my mother’s creation — or it might have been the girls scouts. in any case, we would use a eound cookie cutter to make a hole in the bread, toast toast the bread with butter in the frying pan, flip and drop the egg in.

it may have had a cute name, but damn if i can remember it:)

It’s called toad in a hole in parts of North America, and it’s called egg in a hole, as well. It’s also called Egg in a Basket.

Try a lower power setting for the MW, that works for me…

Korean dumplings I got at the farmers market. Excellent breakfast. This is a new vendor at my weekly indoor farmers market, a venue that is 90% actual farm stands, not a mix of farm stands and other stuff like little restaurants. This Korean vendor has a similar stand at a nearby indoor fold hall, but had only just appeared at “my” FM. Biz for her has been VERY slow because the majority of people at this FM have never heard of Korean food and being naturally conservative have zero interest.

Her offerings here are fewer because she’s not allowed an open flame. The dumplings were air fried, and didn’t mind that at all. I also bought a pint of her kimchi.

That’s not an option for our microwave.

This morning’s breakfast was a zucchini onion frittatta. It didn’t break!

An open-faced sangueech: toasted slice of Aldi’s Italian loaf, smashed avo seasoned with s&p and a squeeze o’ lime, topped with iceberg & roti chicken & a lil scallion for bite.
