What's for breakfast? (2025)

A friend of mine lived in Brazil during her teenage years and she said they often have cake for breakfast. I am clearly doing the wrong thing.

I had eggs cooked in tomatillo sauce, a tiny bit of Greek yogurt with mashed-up raspberries I picked this morning, and a big square of cherry puddin’

This morning’s fry up was a couple of fried eggs and smoked bacon.

Proper Sunday breakfast after 10 hours of sleep. Guess I overextended myself yesterday.

Home fries from a half baked potato, an over-easy egg, and a piece of toast.

I love that combo. Your potatoes look perfect, as does the egg.

The taters needed a wee bit more salt, but I was too lazy (and hongry!) to get up and get another pinch.

Yeah, well, once in awhile I splurge. after all, there was just a single egg!

Crispy bacon and eggs, sliced cucumber and tomato drizzled with EVOO, side of toasted sesame bagel.
A quick early morning coffee run visit(6:15am) from a neighborhood bunny to start the day off right :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

A really big bowl of overnight oatmeal. There really is oatmeal in all of that milk. For some reason you can’t see the oatmeal at all in the photo.

I made Katie Lee Biegel’s Triple Coconut Waffles (coconut oil, coconut milk, shredded coconut) but did a quadruple version by adding some coconut extract. They need it to actually get the coconut flavor through.

More overnight oatmeal but with a better oatmeal-to-milk ratio than yesterday and topped with haskap berries.

OK, those are cool! Had to look them up; I’ve never heard of them!
