What's for breakfast? (2024)

5 miles before breakfast! Color me impressed. If I had it my way I’d be served breakfast in bed
which does happen on occasion, but nothing as involved as your plate

NOM! (Except for the black puddings, I agree!) Have a wonderful trip!

I have started telling the server to hold the white pudding or black pudding when I place my order!
I hope it’s okay I’ll pop your post into the Big Full Breakfast thread!

Absolutely! I purposely bake extra spuds for just that purpose and I have a few extras ready for this morning. Thanks for the reminder!

Would love to hear what state park, for the next time we venture south to drop off kid 1 in Tacoma. Always interested in finding new trails. Although 5 miles is a long walk!

All the talk of potatoes made me realize I’ve been running a deficit

They don’t skimp on the filling for the croissant! Well done, sir!

Very generous with the filling for sure.

Love it. Nothing more disappointing than a skimpily filled croissant!

I use this (reasonably easy) recipe and Costco’s giant croissants - pretty sure it’s more cost-effective. A half recipe is good for 4 giant croissants, and my notes say to use about 1/4 C of filling for each; more just overflows.
