I am originally from NYC ( Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx), but have lived in California for the last 34 years; LA for two years and a San Francisco suburb for the rest.

At this point I have lived in California for most of my life. :astonished:

I think that would qualify you as a Californian.

I’ve lived most of my adult life in NYC now and have reluctantly realized I am now a northern NYer rather than a southern boy anymore.

I saw very similar turbot as yours, and took a couple of photos. They are clearly left eye


The sign states they are from Korea. I look up more. It seems many Koreans raise a particularly breed originated from France-ish area.
