Product Recalls and Warnings

It’s horrible. I think more of their donuts are sold in the US. It’s a Canadian company that has factories in the States and in Canada. I’ve never seen their donuts for sale here. Their Ace bread brand was a premium brand in Toronto. I think the original Ace Bakery ppl must have sold their brand to the company. I have never bought any of their other brand products sold in Canada.

I was looking around, and that company has had a lot of handouts from the Cdn government over the past 15 years.

Same company has taken over some of George Weston’s bakeries and has supplied President’s Choice naan to Loblaws et al.

Phew! You had me check that article, as Genova is my preferred canned tuna brand & I’d just made tuna salad for my sweets using 3 of their cans.

And this, as well as all of the other recalls, is why I spend so much time in the kitchen.

Didn’t even notice that!
So if I’m in the future, it looks just like the present, only moreso.

The FDA just sent me four “weekly recaps” of their recall notifications, going back to January 12. I’ll post from them as I receive them.
