No, everytime I enter the fsis link or fda.gov I get some crummy excuse why I cant access the site. So I just enter the link I see on the newsfeed and sometimes it works.
These frequent recalls bother me.
I got the organic carrots e.coli recall letter from Costco in the mail today. I’m so glad they can notify us about recalls and such.
My purchase was September 17, in the time frame of sales of that item. Costco offers a refund, I’ll be going there this week.
The carrots I purchased that day are long gone. No need to sanitize the areas they came in contact with.
Taylor Farms, again. They’re so big!
Are you able to get cukes up there?
We have greenhouse cucumbers from southwestern Ontario, and Mexican cucumbers available.
I don’t buy too many cucumbers in the fall, winter or spring. They almost always go slimy on me because I don’t use them quickly enough.
I’ve started buying just one, not refrigerating.
I buy one or 2 Syrian cucumbers when I need them.
But you have ‘unrecalled’ cukes available, right?
Yep. I think so, not that I took a close look. There were some Syrian- varietal cukes presumably grown in Canada next to the tomatoes at the store today.
Maybe Mother Nature is telling Zone 5 they should be eating pickles, and not imported cukes, from October to June.
