Pistachio Butter

Just discovered Pistachio butter at Wegmans & I’m in love
Other than very obvious uses anyone have any suggestions for how to use it?

I like to mix into hummus and pesto.

Not sure how thick/thin this Product is but there are lots of Applications much like any other Nut Butter
Pastry :
Frangipane
Creme Pat
Pistachio Cake
Cookies
Buttercream
Ice Cream etc…
Savory:
As a Base for Crostini Toppings
Pesto to toss with Pasta
With Garlic, Herbs and Yogurt as a Sauce/Dip
Base for a Salad Dressing
In place of Tahini or Sesame Paste (like for Dandan Noodle or Baba Ghanoush)

I’ve been reading this thread, and I’m thinking I’m going to try an “easy” chocolate tart (or tartlets using little frozen crusts) and try and spread some pistachio cream I have on top sprinkled with chopped salted pistachios.

Sounds good too bad for me we’re not neighbors

I whip it with a bit of light cream and use it as a pastry filling btwn sliced croissants, btwn waffles and ice cream, crepe filling, on toast as a spread and added to cheese boards as a cracker dip.

Dresses up shortbread cookies.

Basque cheesecake with pistachio butter is a winner, also added to pastry cream.

I’m not even finding it on the Wegmans site. Might look for it in-store tomorrow, especially if it’s a better deal than the imported pistachio stuff we get for ice cream or to put on toast.

For $8.00 I’ll forgo the DIY project for now btw been dipping into all day long Not gonna last long lol

So if I cover a Toblerone or dip my Ghirardelli’s chocolates in it do you think I will survive. Toblerone yes but my sacred Ghirardelli’s could be cause me to faint in ecstasy

I shared it because there were ideas for using it, like “It’s the ultimate topping for ice cream sundaes, and makes a bang-up frosting for that aforementioned pistachio cake (pistachio Chantilly?) as well—just one of many uses you’ll find for homemade pistachio paste once you have some on hand”
