Pepperbelly?
Tell me more.

Totally agree, doritos, potato chips, triscuits, and the list goes on - keep it simple. I was very very sad about some old bay potato chips at the beach last weekend.

I think it would be, it’s part of what makes the original LGM chili crisp good. Although there are more “natural” glutamates in there as @ipsedixit brought up.

It’s Frito pie. I’m trying to remember who I’ve heard say pepperbelly. I think it was someone from the pacific northwest, and walking taco was someone from the upper midwest. I might have those reversed. It’s been a long time ago.

The Girl Scout troops I was associated with had ‘walking tacos’, ’ walking salads’ walking this and walking that.

If i served up one walking taco at the Little League concession stand here in Florida, I served up a thousand of them.

They were a staple…I think they were $3.00

Kankel 57% dark milk chocolate made with sheep’s milk. Very intense cocoa taste with a savoury overtone. The big J doesn’t like it, but I think it’s fantastic.

Were those the one with corn chips in the bag?

Yup. Bag of Fritos opened up with a scoop of chili and toppings.

There was a discussion somewhere about buying supermarket-brand (white label, “generic”) items and now I can’t find it - anyone remember where it was?

The walking taco is by far the most popular item in our school cafeteria. Much beloved.

Tried the Irvins Salted Egg Fish Skins a few years ago. Tasty, but expensive.

Their Salted Egg Instant Ramen and Cup Noodle jumped into our shopping cart today.

MALA!!! DANGEROUSLY ADDICTIVE!!!

Should be delicious. Will report back.

If you have a Trader Joe’s in your neighborhood, I recommend their Corn Chip Dippers.
They are very good and remind me of the Fritos of old.

They’re great. Just be careful when shopping because they make TWO versions. The other one (elote version) is in a similar bag but is rather spicy.

True, I like those too, but not as much as the plain version.

We discovered Bays English muffins about 2 years ago and they are a staple in our refrigerator. We like all of them.
