The wedding soup isn’t watery at all.
Thanks for confirming. I’ll keep an eye out for the soup.
They got bad reviews somewhere recently. Apparently, the soups are made in Canada and don’t have much to do with the OG brand.
Are dey saying Canadian doesn’t know ow to make the soups?? Tabernac!
Mebby eet’s becoz dee Campbell’s tük över dee Rao’s?
I only heet the Campbell split pea soup, eh
Interesting.
That sent me down the rabbit hole of corporate ownerships.
Sorry.
Playing hooky on this beautiful day! Chana Kati roll from Masala Kitchen in Philadelphia. Sitting outside at the new-ish plaza at 12th and Chestnut
Tasty tomato tart, the crust had herbs, tomato and cheese. The base had a thin layer of tapenade, Gruyère, tomatoes, a little more cheese, then brushed with basil oil. Finished with basil pesto when I removed from the oven. None left!
It really is perfect. No better way to highlight garden tomatoes, save for what Nannybakes did in the baking thread.
That is gorgeous and I am sure it tastes as good as it looks!!
It “was” an 8” tart and we managed to finish it off. In defense,, it was a shallow tart and not one of the deeper ones i make!
Right? Absolutely stunning And I bet it’s delish, too!
This is one of several occasions I wish we had a WOW reaction besides the fork & knife.
Thank you! Much appreciated, I must make that crust again, it was very complementary to the filling.
Pepperidge Farm soups used to be made in Canada. Hands down my favorite soup brand ever!! Then Campbell’s bought them and extinguished the product.
