Lunch 2024

Looks xackly like what I made myself for breakfast this am (love to do hot dogs in my air fryer, then pop them into the bun and toast them together for a minute. I’d have to drive 45 minutes to get to a Costco so…

Then for late lunch I had a BLT with a gifted tomato from my friend’s garden. It was so good I almost ate the plate. Gonna skip dinner tonight.

Japanese Ramen noodles in Tomato based Chicken Broth with pan fried Spanish Iberico Pork luncheon Meat, Swedish Meatballs, Chinese Beef Balls, Organic Corn, Minced Nori, Scallions and Sesame Seeds.
Surprising, delectable outcome!

Salmon cornmeal fritters, McCain’s fries, Kewpie aioli. I have more of the fish mixture left, and I think I’ll add corn kernels to it tomorrow.

A very late lunch after catching my friend’s gig at the arts fest. Lucky bish got to play with the best bass & drums in the area :star_struck: :heart:

It was hotter than Satan’s taint out there — even worse than yesterday, but we wanted some food. Split very good spanakopita from the Greek truck,

and a delightful Cajun seafood roll (langostinos and shrimp)

for FREE :partying_face: bc the owner loves me, apparently :smiling_face:

That would have been a $17 roll. Probz helped that everyone was packing up for the day, and I do share sales or specials they have going on in one of the local food groups I run.

We split the last three slices of the Detroit-style garlic dill pickle pizza. Nuked first, then crisped up in the pan. Topped with almost the appropriate amount of RPF :yum:

Delish even a few days later.

Not much at the local FM today, so I swung by the Chinese grocer & grabbed a few KOS - 1.39lbs for just over $3 :partying_face: :partying_face: :partying_face:

Seared them hard in ghee, then finished with the last drops from a rosé bottle & a scattering of fresh parsley and scallions. One of my favorite lunches. So meaty :heart_eyes:

Lunch today was a salad of broccoli, caulilower, r3d pepper and carrots with a caesar style salad dressing. Kabanos sausage on the side for protein.

Today’s lunch was homemade vegetable soup using mostly veggies from this week’s CSA. I used celery, carrots, onion, zucchini green beans and a lot of kale. I added chikpeas for protein.
