I always add capers to “my” tuna salad (which I mostly make for my PIC’s lunches). He loves banana peppers on other sammiches, but probably wouldn’t enjoy the onions.

Whereas I … #would hit your salad hard.

It’s from a local burger joint here in the burbs of Toronto called Burgers Park. Weird-ish location on the bottom floor of an office building.

Your recipe made me Recall that a friend of mine likes her tuna salad made with capers and chopped cocktail onions. Her husband, who prepares it, obliges her.

I was a celery and mayo only guy growing up, cause that’s how Mom made it. Capers/onions and pepperoncini add crunch as well as zing to boring old tuna salad. And who among us doesn’t want some zing in their lives occasionally??

I do like Portillo’s hot dogs, as it turns out, but haven’t tried much else, mostly because I really like the Chicago dogs there.

Green Tabasco is the only one of that brand that I actually like.

That’s the perfect place! When they open up their vents and the aromas rise to the upper floors, it is like the dinner bell ringing. Pavlov’s dog.

We traveled west today in pursuit of tights for me, and found it a great excuse to splurge on a sushi lunch at our favorite haunt, Mr. Hai Kabuki. We go every summer, and the main guy still remembers what we like to order

It was great, and that miso soup is still the best I’ve had.
