Did you ever try slicing it thin, coating it with olive oil and salt, and then roasting it in the oven?

Yes.

Breakfast sandwich of Beyond breakfast sausage, scrambled egg with chive, cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, and ketchup on a ciabatta roll. And some broccolini and tomato with sesame dressing.

A beer and lime juice is all I want with shellfish. Don’t like bread, pasta, chips/fries or any kind of carb with my precious shellfish. Here I have a “standard” dipping sauce that I usually make for shellfish: chillies, garlic, Phu Quoc (the island) fish sauce, lime juice and sugar.

On rye bread

With cream

Scrambled eggs

Last week I mentioned Bursa, the biggest producer of Turkish black figs, was “not that far” from the capital. It’s should be Istanbul.

Exceptional Razor Clams (navajas). Very common here in Spain when in season. And the whole grouping of wonderful photographs and shellfish / seafood salads are stunning.

Have a lovely evening.
