Ketchups and Mustards and any other condiments you love

Can you see OSHA allowing those long voluminous skirts and aprons around machinery today?

Not grilling, but smoking ribs.

Pictured is my latest first choice when it comes to hot sauce. Produced in Tijuana using Chiltepin peppers, which if you’ve never tasted, I highly recommend. A favorite of one of my local burrito joints (Sonoratown). Also, since I try whenever possible to steer clear of products made with HFCS, I do like Curtice Brothers ketchup which is made with organic apples, balsamic vinegar, and ginger. Of course, Kewpie. For sandwiches that need extra flavor, Henderson’s Relish (UK) and Hot Avjar (roasted red pepper and eggplant puree , Macedonia) are my favorites.

I’ve seen those but haven’t taken the plunge.
I’ll take your recommendation as a go.

No idea. I don’t look for such things. You may be right. Just going by flavor, here.

I agree with the fridge. The table won’t spoil it, but the flavor of cold ketchup, IMO, is superior.

Hmm Chiltepin. Prolly my favorite chile. Loved Cholula growing up.

Anyone try this?

After the disappointment of hot mustard Dorito’s, I can’t take the chance.

Has anyone mentioned Durkee’s dressing? I’ve been a fan of it for so many years. It goes into egg salad, deviled eggs and as a condiment for a soup meat dinner. Hard to find around here, so I will buy 2 bottles when I see it. Ma got us started on it.

The best for deviled eggs.

Ohhh, my Dad loved that stuff! I forgot Mom used that in deviled eggs.

Husband’s family always used Durkee’s on poultry sandwiches. (Me? No.)

I’m out and proud about my fondness for ketchup. I love mustard, too, but only real mustard, not that sweetened citric acid-ed crap.

My mom still does. Don’t even try to convince her that anything might be better.

Fries NEED ketchup, IMO. I prefer spicy ketchup, though. I don’t do what my uncle always called “babyshit mustard.” I’ll eat almost any other kind, though. I also physically need horseradish. Die without it.

Now they have babyshit mustard Skittles. Taste the turmeric!
