At a reception the other day there were traditional deviled eggs garnished with rings of pickled jalapeño. There is not much in the world of savory nibbles and noshes that is not boosted at least a little by pickled jalapeños.

Happy Easter, @bbqboy did you have any eggs today?

What is the upper right photo?

I think it’s a marshmallow whip salad

It’s a potato casserole, sometimes called “funeral potatoes”. Indispensable midwestern food.

happy Easter, @retrospek

I didn’t recognize the dish in that photo. I make a Canadian version from Best of Bridge.

for Easter i did a variation that i’ve gone to many times. i mix in some gravlax, sub cream cheese for mayo, and a touch of dijon as the fill. top with caper, dill, and some pancetta. i haven’t met a variation that i didn’t like.

Beautiful! I made a small batch of the classic type just for myself this weekend as Mr. Bionda is not a fan - it’s not Easter without deviled eggs!

I did not not. My kids are in their 30’s now so no Easter egg rolls for me.
