We have one definite winner for July-September’s COTM: Julia Turshen month! I am excited about this - she’s got lots of delicious, easy, and healthy recipes to choose from, and this seems like a perfect summer choice. I will put up a reporting thread next week.

We have a tie for our second selection. Please vote below for which body of work you’d like to cook from as COTM. The choices are Meera Sodha https://meerasodha.com or Maangchi https://www.maangchi.com . I don’t think we can go wrong with either one!

What a great quarter!

While I’d be hapy with either Maangchi (Korean) or Meera Sodha (Indian / pan-Asian / etc) in combination with Julia Turshen, I went with Maangchi because I’ve been craving Korean food lately, and it would give me a boost to make some easy favorites!

But I’d cook along happily from Meera Sodha given her broad Indian / Asian / middle eastern range across books & Guardian column.

I’m torn, I’d be happy with with either. I’ll have to think about this over the weekend/
