If anyone is interested in a decent set at what looks like a decent price. These are the professional-S version.

I got these for my son and they’re shipping to his college apartment. Regular price is supposedly $250-ish. The Amazon price has fluxed a bit and as of this minute it’s up a bit, around $170.

I like these knives quite a bit and they’re what I’ve been using over 30 years (predecessor style version, though) and I’ve gotten these for my 3 older kids as well.

The set is listed a $130 today; I paid list $142 (was $150 with tax). It hasn’t shipped yet so I could cancel and re-buy, but it’s not worth fiddling with it (and delaying his receipt) for $12.

Huh. Now just an hour later it’s up around 170. Like trying to time stock sales!
