Your Preference... Wet- or Dry-Heat Cooking Methods?

OK, so I know that practically no one uses one or the other exclusively, and that many cooks will commonly mix the two.

But when it comes down to menu choices and meal planning, what gets you salivating?

Personally, I have to work hard to convince myself to wet-cook much only by those methods. Maybe steamed crustaceans,mashed potatoes and cob corn?

Questions like this completely mystify me. Because it totally depends on what you’re cooking, what you’re cooking with it, what you feel like eating, and what season it is.
