Winter 2021 (Jan-Mar) Cuisine of the Quarter - NOMINATIONS

This insane year is finally drawing to a close, so please join me in ringing in this most welcome of new years with a new Cuisine of the Quarter! We will still be eating most of our meals at home this quarter, so I look forward to exploring a new cuisine with you - I received a gorgeous new Magimix for Christmas and I’m not afraid to use it! Please list your nominations in ALL CAPS below. Thanks, HOS!

ETA: I will leave nominations open until Friday morning, with voting to start in 2021!

PLEASE, let’s elect a cuisine that celebrates comfort food. We desperately need a few months of cossetting plates. Wishing everyone a regenerating new year.

Oh, 猴脑汤 is a personal fave.

I prefer 猴子睾丸.

It’s supposed to be very 補, good for the winter months.

Are monkey brains (and testicles) legal here?

Agree. But thinking maybe a regional cuisine given how wide ranging Chinese cuisine is? I would vote for food of Hunan. But Sichuan would probably be an easier region for everyone, apart from Cantonese food.
