She was one of my very favorite actresses. She had suffered with MS for so long so although I’m sad to hear she passed away, at least she’s no longer in pain.
A good friend of mine (who passed away in 2021) went to acting school with Ms. Garr at around the time this film was made.
May she rest in eternal peace.

Snickers!
I first ever noticed her in Close Encounters of the Third Kind, an absolute personal favorite to this day. Next was Tootsie and Young Frankenstein.
I’m probably the only one in the world who liked One from the Heart.
I’d be pissed for not having been part of the game.
In 1968 she appeared in a Star Trek TOS episode (“Assignment Earth”)with Robert Lansing. She walked off the set when Gene Roddenberry wanted her short skirt to be even shorter. Never appeared in another Star Trek production, but the tiff with Roddenberry didn’t seem to derail her career.
How could anyone not have loved her? And come to think of it, no one I’ve known has ever said a negative thing about her. She was so sweet and had such a positive outlook on life…even as she suffered the ravages of MS.
F*&ing SCOTUS messing with my state
What’s up with that possum’s head? Seems abnormally large, in stark contrast to the person
I had never seen this hilarious short with Steve Martin, Buck Henry & Teri Garr before. It’s a 7:47 masterpiece and because of the subject matter, very appropriate for this site!
Reminiscent of SNL sketches. Steve Martin is such a ham
That is pretty. Great sunset here in NoVA too, even when captured by my crappy old iPhone camera.
Woke up at 6am this morning. General mood: expecting the worst, hoping for the best.
Probably a good motto in any event.
I Always turn the wall clock back a hour before daylight saving time . Should be called losing time .
Looking at the clock. 5:30 pm . Pacific standard time . Its pitch dark out . Looking forward to spring .
We usually turn our clocks back about 10 p.m. when we’re ready to go sleep. I wake up earlier than usual (of course!). My favorite day of the whole year. If you wake up early enough the day just seems to last forever.
You change the time on your clocks?? Huh??
I’m confused… (says the guy from Arizona)
LOL
